Weinick to Return to Hofstra as Adjunct Professor
In Fall 2015, Famighetti & Weinick, PLLC partner, Matt Weinick, instructed a Hofstra Law School class, “Foundational Lawyering Skills.” In Fall 2016, Weinick will be returning to Hofstra as an Adjunct Professor to instruct the class again, but this time with a revamped curriculum.
According to Hofstra, the class will strive to teach law students skills which have not traditionally been taught in law school. In particular, the class will focus on fact gathering and analysis skills.
On his experience teaching last year, Weinick stated, “teaching last year’s class was rewarding and fun.” In looking towards next year, Weinick commented, “Hofstra has worked hard to enhance this important skills class and I’m excited to be a part of the program.”
Weinick will be assigned to teach two hours per week for six weeks during a late afternoon class so his work with Hofstra will not detract from his ability to remain available for his clients.
