Discriminación Laboral

Las Leyes Federales, del Estado de Nueva York y de la Ciudad de Nueva York, así como el Título VII, la ADEA, la ADA, la EPA y las leyes sobre derechos humanos, prohíben a los empleadores discriminar a los empleados por motivos de edad, raza, sexo, género, nacionalidad, origen, religión, discapacidad y embarazo. Las leyes estatales y/o locales prohíben la discriminación basada en la orientación sexual, el estado civil, e incluso sobre la base de estar desempleado. El Estado de Nueva York también evita que los empleadores discriminen a los empleados por actividades en las que participan fuera del trabajo, como participar en una campaña política.
